The National cricket team of Pakistan, also called Shaheens ,Green Shirts, and Cornered Tigers is administered by the PCB. The Pak cricket team is a Full Member of the International cricket council,  and participates in test, One day international and Twenty 20  cricket matches.

Pakistan has played 446 Test matches, winning 146, losing 136 and drawing 164. Pakistan was given Test status on 28 July 1952 and made its Test debut against India in October 1952, with India winning by an innings and 70 runs.

The team has played 945 ODIs, winning 498, losing 418, tying 9. Pakistan was the 1992 world cup champion, and was the runner-up in 1999.

The team has also played 208 Twenty 20 internationals, winning 127, losing 73 and tying 3.Pakistan won the 2009 icc World Cup and were runners-up in 2007.

Pakistan has the distinct achievement in international cricket. As of 9 June 2022, the Pakistan cricket team are ranked fifth in Tests, third in ODI’s and third in T20’s by the ICC.
